Nick was born in Phoenix, Arizona and grew up in the west valley city of Glendale. His high school years were spent at Northwest Christian School in Phoenix. Following high school, he attended Arizona State University West campus, obtaining a BS in Life Sciences while concurrently working in an undergraduate genetics lab. The year before college graduation, he married his high school sweetheart, Jacqueline.
Growing up in Glendale, Nick always had aspirations of attending Midwestern University for professional school. The College of Dental Medicine was established during his college years, and he was excited to go there for dental school and earn his DMD. Shortly after graduation, his passion for endodontics drove him to pursue a career as a dental specialist. He completed an endodontic residency at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham, AL. While attending the program, he had the honor of working at the Birmingham Veterans Administration in his second year.
After realizing they missed the “dry heat,” the Netzel family moved back to the Phoenix area to serve with exceptional endodontic care. On his off days, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.
